US Visa Travel Advisory for Coronavirus
Important Information about US Visa Travel Advisory for Coronavirus.
Due to the recent outbreak we will be closely monitoring Coronavirus (COVID-19). We will be following the current guidance from the government and health authorities to ensure we are taking the right actions to protect our customers, employees and the community we operate in.
As of March 16th 2020, multiple U.S. Embassies are cancelling routine Nonimmigrant visa appointments in order to reschedule for a later date. As a reminder the MRV fee is valid and may be used for a visa application in the country where it was purchased within one year of the date of payment.
We do not know whether, or not, the Embassy will stop accepting applications but as of today, appointments are still available and the Embassy is still accepting u.s. visa applications.
If you reside or have traveled recently to China, Italy, Korea, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland before your planned trip to the United States, we recommend that you postpone your visa interview appointment 14 days after your departure.
Additionally, if you;
- are experiencing flu-like symptoms.
- believe you may have been exposed to coronavirus
You are strongly encouraged to postpone your appointment by at least 14 days. There is no fee to change an appointment and visa application fees are valid for one year in the country where the fee was paid.
Additionally, please feel free to get in contact with one of our customer service representatives if you have any further concerns or questions about the u.s. visa travel advisory for coronavirus.
